Principal
Sarah has been a trusted advisor to nonprofits and philanthropists for 15 years, in addition to experience in the corporate sector.
For the past several years, Sarah was the Program Director of Gerstner Philanthropies. Hired as the first full-time employee to build the foundation, Sarah developed strategy, programs, and systems and led, executed, and scaled grantmaking in education, microgrants, workforce development, food and other social services, disaster relief, and the environment.
Before Gerstner, Sarah was a Program Officer at Tiger Foundation where she worked across its portfolios of education, employment, youth and families, and criminal justice.
As Senior Staff Attorney at the Pro Bono Partnership, Sarah provided legal and strategic counsel to nonprofits and recruited and managed volunteers on pro bono projects.
Sarah also worked as a corporate lawyer at IBM and Proskauer, and began her career in development at The New York Public Library.
Sarah holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
